Carbon Revision - Platform and carbon calculator helping to reduce emissions from the web
An initiative to measure and reduce carbon emissions from websites needed a platform to raise awareness and drive change. We designed and developed their site, tools, and brand assets.
Starting Session
We began by exploring how sustainability projects communicate in the digital space. Our research revealed that Carbon Revision needed both a strong visual identity and a platform that could turn complex data into accessible tools. The focus became finding the right balance between clarity, credibility, and engagement.

Branding
We developed a modern visual identity using clean typography and a fresh, minimal color palette inspired by sustainability themes. The system was designed to work consistently across digital touchpoints, from the website to promotional assets.

Website
The site was built as a narrative-driven platform that educates and engages. Bold type, minimal layouts, and interactive storytelling highlight the urgency of reducing emissions while making the data easy to understand.
On the development side, we implemented a custom carbon calculator that measures emissions based on hosting, energy, and usage. The site includes a public badge system to promote accountability and an “Energy Saving Mode” for reduced impact browsing.
